STEEL
MANAGEMENT |
Through the use of
computer software and hardware, PAX utilizes a system of
managing and tracking material accurately and efficiently. This
system includes producing job estimates, bill of material lists,
material-cutting lists master and individual shipping reports,
as well as useful electronic files. It saves time and increases
accuracy by automating the following work:
 |
Weighs all
steel. |
 |
Provides a
total material cost for the job. |
 |
Supplies
bolt-counts for each material type. |
 |
Reports a
linear total for each section size. |
 |
Computes
surface areas of items for coating applications. |
 |
Keeps track of
current stock and shows what needs to be ordered. |
 |
Organizes
items by material type, section size, length and grade. |
 |
Optimizes
process time by nesting lineal items in the most efficient
order to process the material. |
In addition,
through the implementation of our system, we can provide a
beneficial material tracking interface with our coating
vendors and more importantly our customers. By electronic
means, the material shipped and receiving process can be
streamlined into an efficient, time-saving process. With the
support of our experienced PAX management, the overall
success of our customer's project is the obtainable goal.
